Elephants in family run spice plantation!

About 80% of the spices used in the world is exported by India. Kerala is an important spice market in the country. Apart from being a commodity, the spice industry is also an important tourism element.

Just like us, elephants love taking a stroll through these serene plantations in Idukki district in the South India state of Kerala.

 

Idukki district is famous for their cardamom plantations and this is where our green cardamom comes from!
